MY TREE IS A NICE 17 YEARS OLD TREE. IT IS A CARPINUS, BUT IT IS TOO BIG AT THE MOMENT BECAUSE IT GROWED IN THE GARDEN ALL THE TIME. AFTER THAT I FOUND IT. IT`S NOW IN A CONTAINER, BUT IT`S TOO BIG TO BE SAYED A BONSAI YEY... IT SI TALL 35 sm. QUESTION: HOW MANY YEARS IT`LL NEED TO GET IT SMALL AND THE TREE CONTINUES TO BE HEALTHY STILL...?

You dont need to get it small, Bonsai grow in category sizes, so all you need to do is reshape with pruning to premote healthy growth,,along with repotting and root pruning of course. Just prune the size down every two years or so when you repot. Some bonsai are 4 to 5 feet tall as tall as a man, some fit in the palm of your hand. Your tree is beautiful just love it and it will reward you.
